Ukrainian military personnel have joined consultations on the future operation of the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the evening address of President Volodymyr Zelensky.<\/p>\n

He emphasized that safe navigation is a global value, and Ukraine has relevant defense experience in the Black Sea.<\/p>\n “It is necessary for everyone in the world to appreciate this as well,” the president noted.<\/p>\n Exporting security expertise<\/strong><\/p>\n Zelensky also mentioned that Ukraine is working on supplies with European partners and Middle Eastern countries. This is, in particular, part of a new cooperation: Ukraine exports security and receives what is necessary for internal confidence and energy security.<\/p>\n He pointed out that Middle Eastern countries currently at war urgently needed expertise and response.<\/p>\n “Ukrainian expertise has proven effective, and everyone acknowledges this. As a result, there are long-term agreements on security cooperation,” the president emphasized.<\/p>\n Plans regarding Europe and Asia<\/strong><\/p>\n In the coming weeks, according to Zelensky, efforts will focus on working with European partners: joint production, defense modernization, funding programs, and coordinating security actions.<\/p>\n There is also a corresponding request from Asian countries, and the president instructed to address it promptly.<\/p>\n The main thing, he noted, is to continuously provide Ukraine with real opportunities for defense.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Recall that the day before, on April 6, Zelensky stated that Ukraine had sent Russia a proposal for an energy truce.<\/p>\n Also, on April 5, a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, Syria, and Turkey took place in Damascus, where defense cooperation and food security were discussed.<\/p>\n On the same day, the president reported that Russia had provided Iran with satellite intelligence on more than 50 civilian energy facilities in Israel.<\/p>\n These events are occurring against the backdrop of the ongoing six-week war between the U.S. and Israel with Iran.
