U.S. President Donald Trump believes that the rift between America and NATO began with his claims on Greenland.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

They don\u2019t want to give it to us. And I said, ‘bye-bye,'” the president said.<\/p>\n He once again referred to the North Atlantic Alliance as a “paper tiger.”<\/p>\n “It\u2019s clear that we don\u2019t need them because they haven\u2019t helped us at all,” the American leader added.<\/p>\n Sharp criticism of NATO<\/p>\n Recall that recently, U.S. President Donald Trump has been regularly criticizing his NATO allies.<\/p>\n It all started when the American leader asked the Alliance countries to intervene in the U.S.-Israeli operation against Iran and help unblock the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n The allies refused to participate in the operation.
