Hardman urged the American leader to “leave Canada alone,” noting that encroachments on the country would “upset King Charles III,” who will visit the U.S. at the end of April.<\/p>\n “I think Canadians have 200 years of history and all this ‘O, Canada’ (the title of Canada’s national anthem – ed.). You can’t sort that out in three and a half years. I don’t think it will happen! (referring to the annexation of Canada to the U.S. – ed.)” Trump said.<\/p>\n The American leader also questioned whether Canadians still recognize the king as the head of their state.<\/p>\n “They have terrible politicians.
