\nWhen Valeriya Force’s uncle went missing<\/p>\nAccording to the singer, the tragedy occurred just as she was preparing for the National Selection.<\/p>\n
“This story is very painful for me because it happened during Eurovision. When the moment of silence began, my grandmother cried very hard. She tried to act like everything was okay, even though she already knew that her son was missing,” Valeriya Force recalled.<\/p>\n

“My uncle, who has been with me since childhood, is a really great person, very kind. He wanted to serve, he wanted to protect, he is a very decent man,” Valeriya noted.<\/p>\n
She recalls the last call from her uncle at the beginning of the National Selection for Eurovision 2026.<\/p>\n
“We were still talking about Eurovision when the filming was just starting; he called me. And he said: ‘I had a concussion yesterday.’ I said: ‘Vova, everything will be fine, hang in there. Your little angels are with you,'” the singer recounted.<\/p>\n
Then new information about the circumstances of her uncle’s disappearance emerged.<\/p>\n
“There was a drone, and he was lying there after the concussion. Next to him, a guy was barely breathing but started to move. My uncle just froze so the drone wouldn’t notice him. And it was at that moment, when that guy started to move, that the drone fell on him. This happened literally next to my uncle,” Valeriya Force shared.<\/p>\n
Valeriya publicly shared the story through social media, noting that the audience’s reaction was mixed.<\/p>\n
“I posted a video about this. We have a lot of hate in the country, but we also have a lot of support when someone is going through a tough time. It’s very painful for our women because many wrote about similar stories. It’s very hurtful that we are experiencing this as a nation, and so many women are suffering,” she emphasized.<\/p>\n
“I don’t know how many chances there are that he is alive. We are searching everywhere and not losing hope,” Valeriya Force added.<\/p>\n
