Their employers remained in dangerous regions, but formal employment relationships were not terminated. As a result, these individuals could not officially secure new jobs.<\/p>\n The new mechanism will allow them to sever such relationships remotely\u2014without a personal visit to the employer or government authorities.<\/p>\n How the mechanism works<\/strong><\/p>\n Resignation applications can be submitted online through the “Diia” app. The system will automatically record the date of termination of employment relationships:<\/p>\n it will record the date of termination of employment relationships;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n it will inform the employer;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n it will update data in state registers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n “We are removing this legal trap and giving people the opportunity to continue working,” Svyrydenko noted.<\/p>\n Who this is important for<\/strong><\/p>\n This innovation affects citizens whose employers remain:<\/p>\n in temporarily occupied territories;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n in active combat zones.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n In fact, these individuals are no longer working at their previous jobs, but due to legal formalities, they have been unable to officially find new employment.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Recall that starting April 1, additional payments of 1,500 hryvnias for pensioners and vulnerable categories of the population began in Ukraine.<\/p>\n The government also approved the procedure for compensating utility costs at evacuation points for internally displaced persons (IDPs).<\/p>\n At the same time, work continues on the digitalization of public services. Recently, the Ministry of Digital Transformation denied rumors that “Diia” would become a paid service.
