The world’s most famous music contest is coming to Asia, and it will be louder, brighter, and more spectacular than ever. From national selection shows across Asia to the live broadcast of the grand final in Bangkok, filled with light, sound, and unrestrained energy – this is where the entire region comes together,” the EBU announced.<\/p>\n This marks the first major attempt to expand the “Eurovision” brand beyond Europe.<\/p>\n Countries from the Asia-Pacific region will participate in the new contest, delegating their performers with original compositions.<\/p>\n As in the European version, representatives will be determined through national selections.
