For passengers on these routes, Wi-Fi operates on a free basis<\/strong> throughout the journey.<\/p>\n Payment and Starlink on the Kyiv – Rakhiv train<\/p>\n On the route of train No. 95\/96 Kyiv – Rakhiv – Kyiv<\/strong>, Starlink equipment has been installed. A different usage model applies here. For the first 10 minutes<\/strong>, internet access via Wi-Fi is free for all passengers.<\/p>\n For those who wish to use the internet without time limitations, the rate is 120 hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Technical limitations during movement<\/p>\n It is important to consider the specifics of satellite equipment operation under martial law conditions. Due to security restrictions, Starlink terminals automatically cease operation<\/strong> as soon as the train accelerates to a speed of over 90 km\/h<\/strong>.<\/p>\n This means that on high-speed sections of the route, the connection may temporarily drop, restoring during slowdowns or stops of the train.<\/p>\n Recall that “Ukrzaliznytsia” launched Wi-Fi on “Intercity” and “Intercity+” high-speed trains back in 2024. Passengers can connect to the network for free and receive 2 GB of internet at speeds of up to 10 Mbps on 16 trains operating within Ukraine and abroad.<\/p>\n At the end of 2025, UZ announced a series of changes for passengers on trains.
