Ukraine is increasingly shaping the security agenda beyond Europe <\/p>\n
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha stated that Ukrainian drones and counter-drone systems have become a strategic resource for the state and are already functioning as a tool of geopolitical influence. According to him, this has enhanced Ukraine’s role not only in Europe but also in the Middle East.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing an interview with the head of the Foreign Ministry to Ukrinform.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Despite the development of all other events in different geographies. And I felt this as a minister. This is the position of all EU countries and the position of the French presidency,” he stated following the G7 Foreign Ministers’ summit held in France on March 26-27.<\/p>\n The minister linked this, in particular, to Ukraine’s proactive stance in the Middle East. He noted that Kyiv has offered its partners in the Gulf states not only words of support but also concrete security solutions.<\/p>\n “And this is valued, it works. And it’s not just about the war, but about our role in shaping security and the agenda from Europe to the Middle East. There is a clear understanding of the significance of Ukraine, its role. And our subjectivity is becoming more pronounced and filled with specific content,” he added.<\/p>\n According to him, Ukraine has “its unique military capabilities, and this is our geopolitical tool.”<\/p>\n “Our drones and counter-drone systems are essentially our Ukrainian ‘oil.’ Our strategic resource that must be converted into a clear national Ukrainian interest to strengthen our army, our economy, and, undoubtedly, to bring about long-term peace,” Sybiha summarized.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Recall that earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that more than 200 Ukrainian military experts are helping countries in the Middle East repel kamikaze drone attacks. According to him, specialists are already working in three countries in the region, and over 30 more specialists are ready for deployment.<\/p>\n RBC-Ukraine also reported that Kyiv has sent three groups of specialists to the Middle East to counter “Shaheds.” This involves not only the transfer of unique experience in intercepting drones but also attempts to strengthen its own air defense system, particularly through the acquisition of PAC-3 missiles for Patriot systems.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Ukraine is increasingly shaping the security agenda beyond Europe.
