Igor Kondratyuk shared details about his eldest son Sergey\u2019s service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He described the young man’s journey as a volunteer and spoke about his successes in the army. <\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the father, Sergey volunteered for the army back in 2023.<\/p>\n

“It was a surprise for us,” Igor admitted.<\/p>\n

Initially, the young man planned to join a mortar unit with a friend, which was then located near Kupiansk, but he was unexpectedly sent for training in the United Kingdom. After that, he was assigned to the 46th Airborne Assault Brigade.<\/p>\n

“It turns out it was training for British assault troops. He really liked it. And, of course, the command sent all the people who were there to the airborne assault troops. Some to the 46th, some to another brigade,” he said.<\/p>\n

However, due to vision problems, Sergey was redirected again. He is currently continuing his service and is even preparing for a promotion.<\/p>\n

“He serves, grumbles a bit because the army is not really his thing. The last time he was home was in September. Now they are planning to make him a section commander. I think he won’t be home for a while,” Kondratyuk shared.<\/p>\n

As for his moral state, initially, they did not tell his mother. Later, however, everything became known. The parents supported their son.<\/p>\n

“I understand him. After a year, he came to the conviction that he should serve. There\u2019s nothing you can do about it. It\u2019s his decision,” he shared.<\/p>\n

\nLet us remind you that Kondratyuk also has a son, Daniil, who works and helps the Armed Forces, and a daughter, Polina. She studied in the USA to become a space systems engineer.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the producer also spoke about the conflict with Kozlovsky. He admitted whether he forgave his former prot\u00e9g\u00e9, particularly for his words about the sons.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
