Two gas station networks have started to lower fuel prices <\/p>\n
Prices at Ukrainian gas stations, which soared due to the conflict in the Middle East, have reduced drivers’ demand for fuel. At the same time, some networks have begun to lower prices at their stations.<\/p>\n
This was stated by Sergey Kuyun, director of the A-95 Consulting Group, in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.<\/p>\n

The fuel cashback program is acting as a certain buffer against this decline,” the fuel expert said.<\/p>\n According to him, yesterday the UPG network lowered fuel prices, and today diesel at AMIC stations has decreased by 1 hryvnia.<\/p>\n “This can be linked to a local decrease in European prices for petroleum products observed on March 25. However, today, March 26, prices (at Ukrainian gas stations – ed.) have sharply risen again,” Kuyun noted.<\/p>\n As for the situation with fuel prices in April, there are no confident forecasts, the fuel expert said in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.<\/p>\n “The market remains unpredictable, as demonstrated over the past two days, which does not allow for any reliable predictions for the future,” he summarized.<\/p>\n Recall that earlier in a comment to RBC-Ukraine, Kuyun mentioned the conditions under which Ukrainian gas stations might begin to lower fuel prices.<\/p>\n Additionally, alarming forecasts about a fuel shortage in April have recently emerged in the media.
