The High Anti-Corruption Court (VAKS) has elected a new leader. Igor Strogiy has taken the position of head of the court.<\/p>\n
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing VAKS on Facebook.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
Also read: The court sent MP Marchenko to prison for throwing away a bribe over a fence<\/strong><\/p>\n Details of the appointment<\/p>\n “By the decision of the meeting of judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court on March 25, 2026, Igor Leonidovich Strogiy has been elected as the new chairman of the court,” VAKS noted.<\/p>\n At the same time, Dmitry Mihaylenko was elected as Strogiy’s deputy.<\/p>\n According to the legislation, the head of VAKS is elected by secret ballot among the judges of this court. The term of office in this position is three years, with no right to be elected for two consecutive terms.<\/p>\n Igor Strogiy<\/p>\n There is little information about Igor Strogiy available to the public. It is known that he has been a judge at VAKS since the court’s launch in 2019.
