The number of applications to the International Register of Losses does not yet reflect the scale of Ukraine’s losses, so citizens are urged to actively document their losses.<\/p>\n

She emphasizes that for a country where virtually everyone has been affected by the war, this is very few.<\/p>\n Why the number of applications matters<\/p>\n In parliament, it is explained that the compensation mechanism works in stages, and currently, filling the register is key<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Initially, in 2023<\/strong>, the International Register of Losses was established. By the end of 2025<\/strong>, an international Compensation Commission will be formed. The next stage<\/strong> is the formation of a fund from which Ukrainians will receive payments.<\/p>\n But without a sufficient number of applications, this process cannot move forward.<\/p>\n That is why, as noted in the Verkhovna Rada, it is important for as many citizens, businesses, and communities to document their losses as soon as possible.<\/strong><\/p>\n Applications can be submitted not only by owners of destroyed homes<\/p>\n This concerns not only damaged or destroyed property.
