This confirms that there is no cash currency shortage in the country. The NBU is ready to continue supporting banks with cash depending on the needs of the system.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><strong>Why does the NBU conduct these operations?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">The decision to reinforce cash reserves was made on March 6, 2026, as a preventive measure.
