The perpetrator faces between 15 years to life in prison <\/p>\n
Today, March 24, law enforcement officials announced the suspicion of a perpetrator who committed a terrorist act in Bucha.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Upon the arrival of emergency services, another explosion occurred at the scene, injuring two law enforcement officers.<\/p>\n Shortly thereafter, the SBU and the National Police on Monday, March 23, “hot on the trail,” detained the executor of the double terrorist act in Bucha – a 21-year-old local resident. According to preliminary information, he was recruited by Russian special services via the internet.<\/p>\n According to the detainee, he met an unknown person through a computer game. After some time, that person began to blackmail the young man by claiming to know where his mother was and allegedly monitoring her with a drone, thus requiring him to plant explosives to ensure her safety.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Such incidents are not isolated. In recent months, similar terrorist acts and attempts to carry them out have been recorded in Lviv, Kyiv, Dnipro, Mykolaiv, and Odesa.<\/p>\n Law enforcement officials note common features of such crimes: the use of improvised explosive devices, remote detonation, coordination of actions via messengers, and recruitment of executors.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The perpetrator faces a sentence of 15 years to life in prison.
