This was stated by the German Minister of Defense Boris Pistorius, as reported by RBC-Ukraine citing Politico.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

This document is intended to serve as the legal basis for “simplifying the exchange of soldiers in each other’s countries and significantly reducing bureaucratic obstacles.”<\/p>\n According to the German minister, this initiative is a logical step in response to the growing global instability, particularly due to threats to trade routes in the world’s oceans.<\/p>\n Japan already has similar agreements with Britain and Australia<\/strong>, but for Germany, this signifies a shift from one-off exercises to permanent military coordination in the Indo-Pacific region.<\/p>\n Protection of maritime routes<\/p>\n Boris Pistorius emphasized the importance of securing logistics hubs<\/strong>, especially considering Japan’s dependence on energy imports.<\/p>\n “How close our partnership is became clear in light of events in Iran and the Middle East. The freedom of maritime routes must be guaranteed and protected,” the German defense minister stressed.<\/p>\n He also stated that both countries share common values regarding international law.<\/p>\n “We are united by the belief that the rule of law must prevail<\/strong>,” Pistorius added.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Germany’s military activity<\/p>\n Recall that recently Germany decided to radically change the rules in the arms market by introducing a “green corridor” mechanism. Thanks to this decision, Ukraine and Gulf countries received special privileges from Berlin, allowing them to obtain air defense and maritime defense systems without delays.<\/p>\n Moreover, Berlin is strengthening security cooperation within Europe. It was previously reported about a nuclear alliance between France and Germany.
