This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing a statement from Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Kiev remains the last region whose winter preparation plan must be approved by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).<\/p>\n The plan includes the protection of 57 critical infrastructure facilities, as well as the establishment of over 200 MW of additional generation to ensure the operation of heating and water supply systems, sewage, and other facilities by the end of the year.<\/p>\n At the same time, according to the head of the Ukrainian government, a key area\u2014developing distributed heating\u2014requires further refinement. The developers have been tasked with completing this part by the beginning of April 2026.<\/p>\n The total budget of the plan amounts to 61.6 billion UAH, of which 10.6 billion UAH is city funds. An additional 51 billion UAH needs to be attracted.<\/p>\n “The government is providing the necessary assistance to the capital in preparing the plan and will support its implementation after approval,” Svyrydenko summarized.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n Recall that on March 3, the National Security and Defense Council approved resilience plans for all regions and regional centers, except for Kiev. The capital was given additional time to prepare the document.<\/p>\n Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the situation in the city is complicated and suggested involving former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov in preparing the plan.<\/p>\n On March 14, Zelensky signed a decree to implement the NSDC’s decision regarding resilience plans, setting a new deadline for Kiev.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The capital remains the only city whose winter preparation plan has not been approved.
