New mobile systems will help Ukraine modernize customs control and enhance border security <\/p>\n
Ivan Koval, Deputy Head of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, announced the start of trial operation of four mobile scanning systems produced by the American company Varex Imaging at key border crossing points with Poland.<\/p>\n

Also read: <\/strong>Ukrainian seaports have amazed the world \u2014 countries in the Persian Gulf want to learn from them Four mobile scanning systems from the American company Varex Imaging have already been delivered to Ukraine and are functioning in test mode at the crossing points.<\/p>\n Their use will allow for more effective detection of concealed goods and combat violations of customs regulations.<\/p>\n Artificial intelligence enhances accuracy<\/p>\n A key advantage of the new systems is the built-in artificial intelligence that analyzes images and automatically detects potential risks and anomalies.<\/p>\n This minimizes the impact of the human factor and increases the accuracy of border control.<\/p>\n Versatility and flexibility of application<\/p>\n The scanners are versatile and capable of inspecting both cargo and passenger vehicles, including minibuses.<\/p>\n This flexibility allows the systems to be used according to the structure of the transport flow and the operational needs of the crossing points.<\/p>\n Strategic crossing points<\/p>\n The deployment of the equipment has been carried out at strategically important sections of the Ukrainian-Polish border \u2014 “Yahodyn,” “Rava-Ruska,” and “Krakowiec.”<\/p>\n After the reconstruction of the “Shehyni” crossing point is completed, the scanner will be put into operation there as well.<\/p>\n The supplies were made under an agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Poland for a loan on terms of tied assistance.<\/p>\n Accelerating procedures and increasing throughput<\/p>\n The use of mobile scanners speeds up customs procedures and the processing of vehicles.<\/p>\n The high mobility and scanning speed reduce inspection time, which increases the throughput of the crossing points, especially during peak periods.<\/p>\n We remind you that the Ukrainian company ROBONEERS has introduced a new modification of the combat module “SHABLYA K-2,” which is now equipped with enhanced remote control capabilities.<\/p>\n It is worth noting that the head of the Ukrainian company Pegasus Arms, Ilya Samoshkin, announced the start of cooperation with the German firm Rohde & Schwarz aimed at creating new technologies for aerial reconnaissance and electronic support for unmanned systems.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" New mobile systems will help Ukraine modernize customs control and enhance border security.
