The president stated that his goals involve destroying Iran’s ballistic missile launch capabilities, their ballistic missile production capabilities, and their naval fleet,” she added.<\/p>\n \n \n The war in Iran and the divide in the US<\/p>\n Such statements are likely aimed at reducing tensions surrounding the war in Iran, which some American officials consider unwise.<\/p>\n Amid the fighting, internal contradictions in the US have intensified.
